At Good For You Club, we are committed to achieving important social objectives that benefit our valued members and the community at large. Our primary focus is:
The following may or may not surprise you, but regardless it is evidence that society could do with a helping hand. And why not start with women.
In January 2023, the British Medical Journal published two research papers highlighting which middle age behaviours could improve the chances of enjoying good health later in life - social relationships & exercise. GFYC creates opportunities for both.
By facilitating a vibrant and supportive community, we aim to empower our members to take charge of their well-being and lead fulfilling lives. Through a range of activities, resources, and connections, we strive to create an environment where individuals can thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Together, we can build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community in Perth and Kinross and beyond in due course, where no one is left behind. Join Good For You Club today and be part of a movement that is dedicated to improving lives, fostering inclusivity, and making a positive impact on the well-being of women across the board.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the ladies today at lunch although I didn’t manage to talk to everyone. This was an important step for me today and quite a difficult one. Since having Cancer and chemotherapy I hadn’t really had the energy, or the will, to go out of the house and meet people for over 5 years. Earlier this year I got my ‘All Clear’ notice and since then I have been steadily picking up and taking an interest in myself, and feeling that I needed to get out and meet new people. I had become quite isolated and withdrawn. But, following the death of my neighbour two weeks before Xmas last year with the same Cancer, it made me realise how lucky I am to be here, and that I should be enjoying life, because others aren’t so lucky. I have to thank Anne, for helping me to take that step today because I was quite nervous, and I look forward to, hopefully, a lot of happy years with new friends from now on.
