Our primary focus is to promote and support a longer, healthier life for all our members, while ensuring that no one feels lonely or isolated along the way.
The British Medical Journal published two research papers in January 2023 (after a 40 year study) highlighting two middle age behaviours which improve the chances of enjoying good health later in life - meaningfull social relationships & exercise. GFYC creates opportunities for both.
The good news is other social enterprises like ourselves, and charities, enjoy free* lifetime membership (with a small one-off admin fee). This is a great way to promote your services throughout Perth & Kinross, Dundee & Angus and Fife.
This will be of particluar interest to those organisations that deal with women over 30 in the health and well-being sectors.
